- To order your repeat prescription, please write down your name, address, your date of birth, what medication(s) you require and the date you put in the request.
- Please leave the order in the box in reception.
- Allow two full working days (48 hours) for collection from the surgery or pharmacy.
- You can request for your prescription to be posted by leaving a self-addressed envelope with your request.
We cannot take repeat prescription requests over the telephone because of the possibility of an error.
We have introduced the new Electronic Prescription Service (EPS) which enables us to send prescriptions electronically to a pharmacy of the patient's choice. This makes the prescribing and dispensing process more efficient and convenient for patients and staff. Please inform us of your preferred pharmacy.
We also provide the Repeat Dispensing Service. This is a way of getting your medicines without having to ask the doctor for a prescription each time.
You can also print out the prescription form below and drop it in the prescription box in the surgery.
A GP must authorise every repeat prescription. This takes 2 FULL working days.
Please note, at busy times, it may take a little longer. We are closed on public holidays and weekends. Any prescription requests received during these times will be available for collection 2 days after the next working day.
Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip.
Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
